公司新曆新年和農曆新年一次過慶祝，老闆請食午飯，有同事竟然塗上艷麗紅唇出席。雖說紅色應節，但畢竟是工作場合，紅唇太過火了。同事不禁暗地裏發短訊說她OTT！

Over the top，簡稱OTT，是英國人常用的口語。Top是解「頂端」，over the top即「在頂端上面」，喻意「過火、誇張」。例句：Her bright red lips were over-the-top.（她的鮮艷紅唇太過火了。）I'm so sorry. My remarks were over-the-top and totally out of line.（很抱歉，我的言論太過火、太出位了。）

Over the top亦可用於正面的描述，起強調、誇張的作用。例句：His performance is over-the-top amazing as always！（一如既往，他的表現異常精采！）形容「超越目標」也可以用over the top，例如，Our fund-raising campaign went over the top by $80,000.（我們的募捐活動比預期募集多了$80,000。）
