Stigma

喜歡看Youtubers年輕、充滿活力和朝氣的生活影片，感染其正能量。不過，在歡樂臉孔的背後，他們或許會遇到低潮，例如抑鬱或飲食失調等。只是這些問題在Youtube的世界似乎背負惡名（stigma），不可隨便公開談論。

Stigma解「污名、恥辱」，牛津字典將stigma定義為"a mark of disgrace associated with a particular circumstance, quality, or person"，某些特定的情況、性質、人物被聯繫到羞恥，使人遭受歧視和欺凌。Stigma所指的標籤通常是不公平的。例如，stigma of mental illness（精神疾病的污名）、stigma and ignorance about AIDS（對於愛滋病不公平的惡名和無知）。

名詞stigma常配carry（帶有）、attach（附帶）、end（終止）等動詞。例句：Sadly, living on CSSA carries a stigma.（悲哀的是，依靠綜援生活成為了一種恥辱。）There should be no stigma attached to unmarried mothers.（未婚媽媽不應該與恥辱扯上關係。）Let's end the stigma of mental illness.（讓我們令精神病不再與恥辱扯上任何關係。）
