Confusing

持續有學校爆發上呼吸道感染，衞生署防護中心突然宣布收緊停課建議。多家小學指並無收到正式通知，只從新聞公布得悉，而且供學校查詢的熱綫亦癱瘓，批評是次通知停課的信息混亂（confusing）。

Confuse是動詞，解「混淆、混亂」，例如，Politicians are good at confusing issues.（政治家善於混淆問題。）常用句式confuse A with B，表達「混淆A和B」。例句︰I'm sorry but I think you're confusing me with someone else.（很抱歉，但我想你把我與其他人混淆了。）

Confuse的現在分詞confusing和過去分詞confused可以用作形容詞，前者形容別人對主語（subject）的感受，後者則形容主語本身的感受。例如，Many primary school principals said the new government policy on class suspension was confusing.（許多小學校長表示，政府的停課新政策混亂。）在這句子裏，confusing是用作形容主語policy，指別人覺得政策混亂，所以用confusing。

又例如，Parents are confused about the constantly changing class suspension policy.（父母對不斷變化的停課政策感到困惑。）這句用confused形容主語parents，指父母感到混亂，所以用confused。
