本港新冠肺炎疫情升溫，昨日（4日）望月樓感染群組增至7人，另錄得一宗不明源頭初步確診個案，社區或已出現Omicron變種病毒隱形傳播鏈。有研究指出新冠變種病毒Omicron在初期階段的傳染力為Delta的4.2倍，市民必須提高防疫意識，新加坡國家環境局（National Environment Agency）早前曾公布《新型冠狀病毒家居消毒產品及有效成分臨時清單》，當中列出超過200款有效對抗冠狀病毒的家用消毒用品，部分在香港市面亦有出售。

使用清潔劑4大要點
同時，當局亦提醒使用清潔劑時要注意以下事項：
- 根據標籤的說明使用，了解每種產品的潛在危險
- 使用時避免接觸眼睛和皮膚，並且遠離兒童
- 切勿混合不同的清潔產品，並在通風的地方使用
- 消毒受嚴重污染的物件時，應避免使用噴霧，並預留適當時間作消毒。
第5波疫情或已殺到
政府專家顧問、港大微生物學系講座教授袁國勇及港大醫學院內科學系臨牀教授孔繁毅均認為，第5波疫情可能已殺到。日本厚生勞動省早前引述研究指，新冠變種病毒Omicron在初期階段的傳染力為Delta的4.2倍，世衞亦指在兩種變種病毒夾擊傳播下，會導致海嘯般的病例湧現，令全球新增確診病例破紀錄。
