Frenzy

錢真的從天而降！日前懷疑「幣少爺」為求宣傳炒賣電子貨幣，向途人派鈔票，讓群眾陷入瘋狂（send the crowd into a frenzy）。宣傳目的大概達到了，當事人卻因為涉嫌「在公眾地方內擾亂秩序」而被捕。

名詞frenzy解「瘋狂」，描述人的行為或情緒不受控制和激動，有時甚至是暴力，多數是暫時性的。例如，Banknotes falling from the sky sent the crowd into a frenzy in the neighbourhood of Sham Shui Po.（從天而降的鈔票讓在深水埗的人群陷入瘋狂。）The picture sparked the media frenzy over the celebrity couple's secret wedding.（那照片引發媒體對那名人情侶秘密婚禮的極大興趣。）

Frenzy可以後接介詞（preposition）of，帶出是甚麼性質的情緒激動或不受控制。例如，There was a frenzy of excitement amongst the singer's fans when she released her debut album.（當那歌手發行她的首張專輯時，她的歌迷非常興奮。）His father slapped him in a frenzy of rage.（在盛怒之下，他的父親打了他一巴掌。）
