Roll out

美國為打擊華為和阻礙中國發展5G技術而無所不用其極，更不惜損害自身利益，限制華為或會使美國在5G網絡建設中落後於其他國家，窒礙美國甚至全球推出（roll out）5G。

動詞單字roll解「滾動、捲起、翻轉」。例如，My child can finally roll a ball along the corridor.（我的孩子終於懂得沿着走廊滾球了。）Roll up your sleeves and start working.（捲起袖子，開始工作。）I'm very tired. I have no energy to even roll my body on the bed.（我很累，甚至沒有精力在床上轉身。）

短語動詞roll out有兩個意思。一、照字面解「將……鋪開」。例如，Please help to roll the carpet out on the floor and cut along the edges.（請幫忙將地氈鋪開在地板上，然後沿邊修剪。）二、上文提到roll out 5G，roll out在這裏指「推出」新產品、新服務、新措施等。例句︰5G services will be rolled out in some of the most highly populated cities first.（5G服務將率先在一些人口最多的城市推出。）
