Registration

首次有教師因為社會事件而被取消註冊（registration）資格，事件對教育界影響深遠。往後老師是否不可以討論「港獨」﹖學校為了保持政治中立，老師是否要避談政治﹖

名詞registration解「註冊、登記」。現代社會很多事情都需要註冊，registration即是「在正式名單上記錄某人、某機構」。

例如，trademark registration（商標註冊）、wedding registration（婚姻註冊）、vehicle registration（車輛登記）、voter registration（選民登記）、student registration（學生註冊）、teacher registration（教師註冊）等等。

正式註冊常牽涉registration application（註冊申請）、registration form（登記表）、registration fee（登記費）、registration number（註冊編號）和registration period（登記期限）。

名詞registration可以配搭動詞apply（申請）、cancel（取消）、suspend（暫停）、postpone（推遲）、extend（延長）等等。
