Quarantine-free

香港有望下星期放寬入境檢疫，但是說實在，最終還需完全免除隔離要求，香港才可以再與世界接軌，保持國際金融中心地位。小市民都好渴望免隔離旅行（quarantine-free travel）呢！

-free用於字尾（suffix），可以解「無……的」，前面配搭的名詞多帶負面意思。譬如，gluten-free（無麩質）、paraben-free（無防腐劑）、hassle-free（無麻煩）、lead-free（無鉛）、stress-free（無壓力）。例句︰The government must realise offering quarantine-free travel is essential to helping the tourism industry rebound.（政府必須意識到免檢疫旅行對於幫助旅遊業反彈是至關重要。）It is wise for online retailers to institute a hassle-free return policy with free return shipping.（網店制定方便、免運費的退貨政策乃明智之舉。）

-free用於字尾還可以解「免費的」，前面配搭與費用相關的名詞。例如，The shopping mall is providing a three-month rent-free period for restaurant tenants.（該商場為餐廳租戶提供3個月的免租期。）The government continues to provide interest-free loans to university students.（政府繼續向大學生提供無息貸款。）
